Those are ISEL scores if there aren't any non-medical waivers, no board needed.
Oh really? I knew they were I-Sel, but I thought it was just according to thenext board convention. I think I missed the april 4th deadline so I thought I would be submitted for the May deadline for the june board?
no non medial waivers for me

Your application upon being submitted will be reviewed to ensure it meets the ISEL criteria, if it does then you are good to go. 1743988444408.png

Hey y’all. Just finished my second ASTB. First attempt for reference was 40 3/4/4, this time I pulled off a 53 7/7/6. Ecstatic about those scores and I will be submitting for the next board for BDCP. Wanted to thank all the information and advice on here. Couldn't have gotten those scores without all the information on this website. Any questions, I might be able to answer.

Got a lot of geometry and probability on my test for some reason, some simplifying algebraic equations. If you use the app for the MCT lessons you will be fine, no calculations on my MCT test. Use the drives and refresh on concepts on problems you are less confident about on khan academy or youtube.

I'm a senior in college right now and just started studying for the ASTB. So far I'm using Barron's study book and have heard great things about the ASTB Prep app so I'll probably add that to the arsenal as well. Overall, how long did people typically take to study and prepare for the test to acquire SNA I-SEL scores of 7/7/7?
I graduate in early May, exactly one month away, and am debating if I should try and push to take it before then or simply take my time if needed and use a few extra weeks. For reference, I've taken calculus 1-3 and first level of calculus based physics. This was about a year ago so it is definitely not fresh on my mind but i feel like I can relearn that info quickly after going over it again.
Any insight is appreciated.

It’s one of those “it depends” questions.
Some people only study for a week, some for months. Use the ASTP Prep app for a few weeks and see how you’re scoring to use that as a gauge for when you think you’re ready. Don’t waist an attempt if you aren’t sure you’re ready.

My first attempt I spent about a month studying, which for me I realized was not enough time. I also didn't focus on the important stuff for my first attempt. I got the app and studied my tail off for 4 months while also balancing school and I was able to raise my scores. Just like GoBoilers25 said, it depends.

Hey guys, took the ASTB a few weeks ago and scored a 6, 7, 7 with my OAR being 53 and having a GPA of 3.3. Kinda bummed out I didn't get another 7 to be first select for SNA but this was my second time taking the test and I am not too sure if taking it again would be beneficial considering they take your latest scores and I am hesitant to know if could improve on that. I do have previous flight experience due to taking formal flight lessons but never finished my PPL. Any kind of advice you guys would have for me in how to move ahead? Waiting to get a date into MEPS in the meantime.

Best of luck to you guys.

Thank you to everyone on this forum! I was able to raise my score from a 39 (first attempt) to a 49 (second attempt) on the OAR. Obviously would have liked over a 50 for intel, but that’s okay. I’m looking at either Crypto or SWO but don’t really know which one I’d prefer. Crypto would be nice because I feel like it would be “easier” to laterally transfer to Intel, however, SWO is a lot more hands on which I know I would strive in. My fiancé is already active duty and does think I would enjoy SWO more, but I’m worried if I want to laterally transfer in the future to IO how hard would that be? I suck at math as is so I really do think Crypto would be pretty difficult due to that. How difficult is it to laterally transfer? IO is my main goal, but I was not risking taking that exam again and getting a much lower score. Looking at doing the June board for Crypto and SWO
