It’s gonna be an interesting wait, but hoping my workload can keep me busy enough to where I’m not at the office looking at the SharePoint LOLHow’s everybody feeling while waiting? High hopes for this board selection? I am just trying not to think about it too much, knowing we might have 3+ weeks of waiting left.

I met my recruiter 11/24First reached out to my recruiter last April so I’ve been ready to go a long timeI know there are plenty of people in similar boats who’ve waited months and months to get through it all. I’d probably ship out to ocs tomorrow if they’d let me. I’m on vacation this week but normally every day I gotta go to work just gets harder and harder
Doesn't have to be perfect, just essentially better than the others apply for the same spots as you, same theory as being chased by a bear, you don't have to be fast, just faster than the other guy, well unless it is just you in that case be REALLY fast.I started my process the beginning of March this year. I had to jump through some medical hoops, so that only left me a couple weeks to get my package together for this board. I am also a BDCP applicant, as I have a year and a half left in college. My package definitely wasn’t perfect, so I am not keeping my hopes too high. But I wanted to give it a shot and see what sticks. Figured it couldn’t hurt.
My biggest concern is I didn’t have time to gather any Letters of Recommendation. Though my recruiter said they were not necessary. I am going for Intel as my first choice. My GPA is about 3.10 and my OAR is 50.Doesn't have to be perfect, just essentially better than the others apply for the same spots as you, same theory as being chased by a bear, you don't have to be fast, just faster than the other guy, well unless it is just you in that case be REALLY fast.
If they didn’t have any slots, then I would imagine that you would get a non-select. Your package would be pushed to the next IWC board for IP. If they didn’t convene at all, then it’ll get pushed to the next IWC board for MCWO.Hey everyone. Saw someone on here say earlier that MCWO didn’t have any available slots this board. My recruiter has been out of office for over a month, has been hard to contact and has not been able to confirm that for me only that I was at the board. If that is the case, I applied for MCWO #1 and IP/CSWO #2, so would that just move IP up as my #1 since MCWO ended up not making it to the board?
So there’s no way I could be selected for IP? Since no more MCWO billets until next year (from what I heard) I’d rather just take IP then wait that longIf they didn’t have any slots, then I would imagine that you would get a non-select. I asked that question last time and they pushed my IP package to this board when I wasn’t selected for MCWO last board. There was a time where they would pass your package off to your number 2 choice if your number 1 choice said no during the same board but now it’s changed because of the problems it was causing. So there’s no way I could be selected for IP? Heard that it could be a high selection rate for this board.Let's just hope there is more than 10 CSWO - 1820 slots XD. Anything less than that and it may be chalked for me. It's scary because you don't know what the board is looking for, and what the other candidates have beyond a degree.![]()
