Whats with a the EGA on the left patch? Is that the equivalent to a squadron patch? Why is Master Chief wearing it? Even the marines in my VT squadron have VMT on their squadron patch... Unlike the rest of us...

You forgot VP-91 (reserve squadron w/12 aircraft).At the time that pic was taken (Or so it appears) Commands owning aircraft onboard Moffett were VP-9, VP-19, VP-31 (RAG), VP-40, VP-46, VP-47, VP48, and VP-50. 9 or so A/C each (except VP-31 had more). An Airforce Rescue detachment (C-130's, H-3's w/PJ's), an Army spy unit, and NASA AMES.
