Just add on something below the "Stars"

Maybe Banhammer icons.. Just an idea. Spammer kills need another icon though.

So do posers, but those are always team efforts so maybe they need a campaign ribbon for ALCON

Pugs, MB, A4 You slammed and banned Talon, but could you explain what tactical means? It it a mission or AC? An F18 passing gas seems less tactical than a UAV shooting missiles at UBL, right?

HJ explained it quite well and FWIW I am not anyone with power to ban anyone, just another user but with enough experience in Naval Air to have a very low BS acceptance level. Questions are always welcome. People pretending to be who they are not are not welcome.

Right; and just so everyone understands -- I was not making any judgments on who or what the guy is or was -- I just took umbrage at the way he tried to "sneak" back onboard the forum after a prior ban by using a new AW's "call sign".

We had an exchange of PM's and then he went dark ... so that was it. End of story.

As far as "tactical" goes ... I remember an ANG outfit that was flying KC-97's in CONUS, SEA, and Europe ... and all the while assigned to TAC (Tactical Air Command) .... they came from a fighter/ADC/NORAD (?) background ... converted to tankers and became part of TAC ... and years later became part of SAC and switched a/c yet again when they got KC-135's ...

Great idea. There is an urban legend that the Turkish Army allows its officers a quota of times he can draw a sidearm and shoot a subordinate with no questions asked.

I doubt I could see that happening in the Turkish Army..they've got great military bearing for the most part.

Now...I wouldn't put it past the Russian Army..

I did hear a Turkish gate guard at Incirlik got a severe beating from an NCO for falling asleep on duty. I think that was around 99. They do still have conscription.

And if you want to fly tactical, you're chances are slimmer than a bulimic crack whore in the AF right about now. All the communities are way overmanned and they're sending people left and right to UAVs....
According to the 2 Feb AF times this is partially true. MC-12's, U-28's and UAV's are being manned at 100%. Everything else is suffering as a result, to include F-22 manning (86%), EA-6B's (33%), OSA (38%) and the staff (48 of 1450 billets, 3%). The article says the AF has about 13,250 pilots and needs about 900 more.
