1001 questions (and answers) concerning BDCP

Might be a weird question, but I know the Navy has a distinguished visitor program where people can see carrier operations. Is there a way that I can get on a carrier and see the landing operations as part of an internship or something? If it helps, I have a year of ground crew experience at my flight school, but I doubt it matters.

Those usually exist for educators and such for recruiting purposes. I’ve also seen elected officials and staffers embark to see what the Navy can do.

Best the Navy can do for you is a fleet week or public visitation / tour offering. If you know someone attached to a CVN they may hook you up…

Enjoy being in college and getting paid.

Dang, at least I'm planning to go to RIMPAC with friends this year. Hopefully, we can tour a carrier, even if it's not during flight ops.
