I emailed my recruiter today and it sounds like I could still apply for SNA for january deadline. Haven’t taken the ASTB yet so likely won’t even make it on this board.

You have enough time to take the ASTB and apply. I would suggest at least trying.
You have plenty of time. I got everything done and ready for submission in less than 6 weeks. Study and take the astb and then work on the next thing needed. It will take some time but not as much time as your thinking.
Understood thanks for the encouragement guys, I just got pretty far ahead on my online classes so I will have more time to study on the ASTB, might try to take the test this weekend.
Look into the SNA/NFO PA on mynavyhr and tell us what you find.

I would try to apply anyway, when speaking with my recruiter it sounds like I can still apply for SNA this board non-BDCP, but sounds like many other recruiters are saying the opposite for other people.
I believe this is the case because of there being such few spots for regular SNA that lots of recruiters are just saying it’s closed.
