At Hawaiian we use first class seats for the 767. We getting Airbus 330s starting next year which will have a crew rest compartment under the main deck with 2 pilot and 4 FA bunks.

I can't believe they are already talking about a 777 replacement, they've only been in service since 1995.

Who wants to bet that the "new" 777 goes into service before the A-350XWB? That's a bet I'd take. Boeing has pretty much built its learning curve on doing composite manufacturing w/ the 787. Airbus still has to do the same thing w/ the A-350. Their track record w/ the A-380 & A-400M suggests there's a lot of pain for Airbus before the A-350 goes into service. JMHO.

HAL, interrogative:

What are your long-haul routes that require an augment ??? I suppose Sydney or Manila, but I haven't checked one of your SKEDs lately to see if you're still doin' that ...

Where are the 'Busses comin' from ???

Beside Sydney and Manila, we do turns to Pago Pago, Tahiti and Seattle. Plans for more long haul as Busses come on line.

A330s new from the factory starting March-April 2010. 10 firm, 6 options. Then A350s in 2016 I believe. Right now 6 firm and 6 options. Will still have 767s well into the A350 timeframe too.
