42 - Answer to everything relating to waiting in the Navy...Just get used to it. Embrace it. Find a local girl, preferably without kids.

Go to student control, look at the class sheets, and find the numbers under "WOB." That stands for weeks on board (their wait time).
Just a word of caution from a recent SNA API grad. I showed up last October and they told me my class up would be around 6-8 weeks (presumably based on earlier STUDs wait times). About a month later it was "2 more months", then a month later, like clockwork, it became "2 MORE months", and so on, and so on. Eventually I classed up towards the end of April.
Just remember, you get paid to check your name off a list once a day. I know that you're excited, but seriously. All pay, no work. It's a 6-8 week paid vacation in sunny Pensacola!
Point is, stop worrying, you'll class up at some point, and if not, you'll sit in APool for 20 years and retire.
So, take it for what it's worth, have fun while you can, and don't f*ck up.
NFO is taking a little longer,...I've been here about 16 weeks, and it's looking like another 8-12. You do get paid to do nearly nothing though![]()
