I'm trying to find out if actual BUPERS orders are cut for active enlisted members to report to OCS. My admin department said they can't get anything going as far as transfer leave or storage of my personal belongings without a set of orders. I'm set to report Jul 8 and would like to get the ball rolling. Any help would be appreciated.

I'll go ahead and answer my own question just in case anyone was wondering. My orders came down from BUPERS today (31May), and my FS letter was dated 25 May, so that's how long it took.

Cain't go nowhere's 'thout them "orders" thangs. Which I gather you've done gone and learnt for yoursef.

It was better..at least more dramatic... back in the day when a dusty dispatch rider on a frothy horse galloped onto my college campus and ran into the Admin Building yelling "I bear urgent Department of the Navy orders for Naval Aviation Officer Candidate (Select) Bagadonuts!"
