Age Critical Pilot/NFO Question

Long time follower, first time poster, so I apologize if this is not the right format.

To make a long story short, I started my package in Oct 2013 and have gone through 4 different recruiters in the same office (retirement, command change, what have you). I finally had my package submitted 29 Oct. I was under the belief that I had selected SNA, SWO, and Supply as my three options.
I go to the office to sign stuff for my clearance today, only to find out that my package only has SNA and NFO as my options. I'm 26, and will be 27 in May 2015. With the next SNA/NFO boards potentially meeting in Feb 2015, and the fact that I cannot get age waivers (not prior service); realistically, what do you think my chances are of being selected and not overlooked because of age?

ASTB of 57/6/5/5
GPA 2.8
LOR: professor, 2 employers, and special agent/marine officer.

Also, my recruiter seems that I can get a waiver, which I am doubtful.

Is there a way that I can remove my package and change the designations I want and resubmit? It seems pointless to wait until the boards meet, get denied, then resubmit. My recruiter wants me to wait it out and said that it was not possible since I already submitted.

Any thoughts?
Thanks in advance.

From what I know, this is not good news. You are correct in that No Prior Service = No Waiver. Of course you never really know if you don't try. Also, it is your application so apply for what you want, not what they put down. I would do whatever I could to not have to wait and re-submit. Best of luck to you.

They have made people redesignate that were in OCS who passed the age limit due to being rolled or other items, they have pulled pro recs for people that have passed the max age while waiting, so odds are you won't be picked up, but if they hold the board early you may get lucky, but that is a long shot.

SWO may have been pulled if you didn't meet the GPA requirement, what is your actual GPA? 2.82 or 2.79 or ???

It was 2.79, but I brought in 8 credits from a highschool course that bumped it to exactly 2.82. Pretty sure I barely met the GPA requirement with those extra 8 credits.

Is there any chance I can re-designate before the next SWO board? My recruiter has been not very helpful in explaining to me if I can or cannot. They just want me to wait, and trust me, I have done too much waiting on their behalf. My only reasoning, I would rather try the Feb SWO boards since it's earlier in the fiscal year and I think I would have better chances. And, if I could re-designate, how would I go about it with my recruiter?

They have looked at the GPA a few different ways in the past several years, for a while if the graduating GPA was below the minimum you couldn't apply, not sure if they changed it but what does the graduating GPA say on your transcripts.

They started selections for FY 15 in spring of 2014, they should finish up FY 15 selections in the spring of 2015

When I was filling out my package, I was not able to select SWO due to my GPA. My recruiter said the limit was 2.80, and I was at 2.79- kind of a heart breaker. But, once we factored in the other 8 credits, it did bump me up to 2.82 and I was allowed to apply. It was just a shame that it did not show up on my package, along with Supply.

Anyways, if the restrictions are still the same and I fit in, is there still any way for me to re-designate after my package has been submitted? Or do I just have to bite the bullet on this one and wait for the SNA/NFO boards to come back and then choose new designations? With SNA and NFO being the only things in my package, I am pessimistic about being selected. But if I could add SWO, I would feel more confident.

They may have left it off as from what RUFIO has said that NRC is not considering anyone for SWO unless it is the 1st or 2nd choice.

In the past Supply didn't pick anyone that wasn't 1st or 2nd choice as well.

I would say go with what you have for now and see what happens, if it looks like the board isn't going to meet in time then they can have your application sent back, but you GPA is very low for Supply and SWO as well.

Thank you for your advice. I guess I'm just really anxious. I had a really rough application process, and do not want to see my chance thrown out the window because I became too old.

What's your major? If it's not business or STEM-related don't waste your time applying for Supply. As for SWO, min GPA is a 2.8. No exceptions.

Major doesn't all into either category, so I'll scratch off Supply. Calculated GPA from both transcripts is 2.82, so I am qualified for SWO.
