There's been a growing and an alarming trend amongst non-prior/non-active duty applicants that an age waiver can be granted, especially if you have the right pull (say you know a Congressman or Admiral). This is not the case and in the Program Authorization, states that an age waiver may only be granted for prior service, year for year.
