Amount incorrect on ASTB

I know the ASTB is talked about constantly because I think I've read a ton of posts looking for this answer but haven't found it. I took the ASTB on Wednesday and felt great about math, verbal, spacial, mechanical, and many of the aviation/nautical. I wasn't clueless but there were a healthy number that stumped me and that I believe I missed. If I do poorly on that will that guarantee a failing grade? Or is it weighted enough that a good perf. on spacial will rescue a bad aviation/nautical performance? Thanks for any info guys.

Well, I actually just took the ASTB today and they should have told you your score right away. Was there no score at the end of your exam?

You only get told your score right away if you take the computer version of the test. Those who take the pencil/paper version of the test must wait 1-2 weeks before they recieve their results as the answer sheet must be sent off to be scored (far as I know, there is only 1 place in the nation that scores the pencil/paper version).

Not true, unless they have changed things up recently. I took the paper pencil version and they gave me my score right then and there. It is considered "unofficial" but it is your score.

People stess themselves out way too much but I guess thats a part of the process.

That was in the days of forms 1 and 2. The new exam no longer gives recruiters the answer sheets. They are trying to prevent leaks......

I'd wait a week or two and then give your recruiter a call if you haven't heard back in the meantime. I know waiting sucks, but you'll hear back as soon as its ready. I had to wait about a month to get my scores because of a slight mix-up.
