I have never heard of that ever happening. Usually, it's anthro and eyesight that busts people down here. Have you already had a flight physical...? If so, then the NAMI shouldn't be a problem unless you have issues with the anthro and sight stuff. Good luck.

yes, there was a female marine who I worked with in student control during my a-pool days that had a really really low iron content

she was on hold with medication to see if the iron content increased

I had a flight physical last year so I could go on my first class cruise. My anthro and eyesight are just fine...but on my commissioning physical they gave me a hard time about my iron count. I had to go back and get it tested for three days in a row. I figure its a good excuse to go to outback and eat a big steak :)

Punk,

I too know a Female Marine Whammied for a long time because of IRON. She was an avid runner and was pretty skinny.....but she is doing fine now. I would say just eat normally and if you are a "Super Athlete" like she was, make sure you are getting your vitiams, minerals you need........(another fact about runners and flying........Long distance runners have reduced G-tolerance

You mean marathoner and long distance cyclist (super-athletes) would not withstand G-forces too good.

Thanks for that info. Did not know that. Thought it would be the other away around; not that i have anything to prove it.
