What is the current practice in API with student who are disqualified for jets and helos, but not maritime? Are they being allowed to continue or are they being forced out?

this is in reference to sitting height

my understanding was you needed to be able to complete two pipelines...youve got p-3/e-6....you should be good to go

My info is about 6-8 months old, but there was a stud that came through w/ just that limitation and they moved him along. All he could select was Maritime and that's what he got.

We had a guy just select who could only go E-6's or P-3's (very tall). Apparently E-6's had more available slots so that is where he went.

Choices will be kingsville, c2/e2, and then helos

the way selection works is too complicated for jinx'ing

Two questions:

Do you not want to go to Meridian?

Has your pipeline progress been about average? Just curious, because I take the RIGS test tomorrow and still have to finish most of forms. I got 2 X's and 1 mando warm-up after being in forms for a month. I would guess I have maybe a month left.

I started ground school on 11AUG. Haven't been med down, just weather and unlucky scheduling. Two guys in my class "shot" through and will probably be done around your time frame, one guy in my class JUST soloed this week. He was med-down for a week in November, and that was it.

I would like kingsville over meridian due to location and friends. Although I skipped a couple RI's and BI's, I'm still on an average-completion-pace-schedule(?) due to an extra long time in forms (xmas, wx, etc). From what I have seen and heard, most people take about 6 weeks to get through the RI groundschools, sims, and flights.
