He flew with us in combat. What a great video!
Remember? Hell! I would not be here, nor my kids and grandkid if not for Hot Dog Brown! He saved my life, 41 years ago!
He also taught us nuggets the ways of the world, how to stay alive in combat, where to eat in Hong Kong (Johnny's Cafe), and a host of other things. He was on leave when I flew to Iran where he was OINC of the F-14 det. Earlier, he was our CAG LSO and I flew on his wing often. He was invited and made our reunion last year, although he was not a squadron member.
After the Navy, I understand his corporation was immensely successful. No surprise. And look what is in the background of the video – what he treasures... his family.
Hot Dog is special.
