Anyone working on NKO?

Future SWO?

Final Select SWO 1/25 OCS date 6/14/08
I currently have a NKO guest account, but it does not allow me to enter e-learning. I have a final select and class date, but I'm wondering how much time I need to give the Navy to put me in the system before I e-mail and hassle them. The last thing that I want to do is hassle someone at Newport and put a big target on myself before I even get there. Any thoughts or suggestions?

what percent of RL officers get jets?
i've heard from several recruiters to not worry about the NKO because the system gets screwed up.

I've heard that if we don't do it, we just have to complete the requirements while we are there. I, for one, would rather do them now and leave more time for other stuff while at OCS.

The way it is now you cannot access NKO e-learning until you are assigned a login at OCS (unless your a prior and have a login already). Trust me you'll have plenty of time to work on NKO while here once RLP is over. I knocked out all my NKO in one week.

Striaght from the OTC N Website

Computer Based Training (CBT)

If you are a NEW ACCESSION attending ODS, DCO, OCS, you are not required to complete the NKO portion of the CBT's until arrival to OTC.

All prior enlisted personnel, ODS, LDO/CWO, DCO, OCS, NSI, BOOST, are required to complete the online courses. Follow the steps below to find your schoolhouse category.

If you experience any problems in establishing a NKO account or accessing Navy E-Learning please contact the OTCN Academics Officer and include a description of your problem.

I'm a non-prior and I can access NKO and e-learning just fine, for what it's worth - even if it does greet me as PO2 XXXXX

I am currently set for OCS on March 1st. I have finished my 4 NKO courses that my recruiter told me to do. Other than those four courses, is there anything else on NKO that I will have to do at OCS that I can get out of the way now?? Thanks.

I just received an e-mail back from my class officer at OCS and he sent me the info to activat e-learning. Apparantly you have to get an NKO account and approval (which I have), and then make a seperate request for access to e-learning. If you have not e-mailed to ask for a sponsor yet, I would do so on the OCS website:
