On navy.com they talk about an "Aviation Officer Candidate School" that talks like it is seperate from the other OCS in saying that it accepts "Navy Pilots, Flight Officers, Intelligence Officers or Aviation Maintenance Duty Officers." I knew OCS was separated years ago and this is very new on the Navy site because I didn't see it when I was looking up information on Aviation using the "Officer Planner" months ago. Does anybody know about this?

AOCS doesn't exist anymore (since mid 90s). Everyone goes to the same OCS in Pensacola, but they're going to move it up to Newport, RI at some point. Some people may be referring to it as such in a nostalgic way.

Combating TIP training AGAIN?!
Newport it is...I helped set up the rooms for the next OCS class. I don't know when the transition is going down.
