Came across this link the other day and it was rather interesting. Basically it gives us AF guys a little idea of what to bring to API, daily schedules, maps, etc.

Don't know if it has been posted before, but it never hurts to spread the wealth.

BTW- NAVY guys, it looks to me like this link also applies to you as well. From what I make of it, the only difference is that us AF folk don't get to touch the water. :confused:

The AF pilots didn't do any swimming (until the "survival" stuff in Weeks 5&6). The AF FOs/WSOs or (whatever they are called) did all of the swimming events.

But in our class the AF studs did the mile swim anyway (maybe they were scared that we'd all beat em down lol). Nah we really had a lot of respect for em .... after the swim of course hahaha.

But in all seriousness ..... all the AF guys were pretty cool and I don't remember them bringing anything different to class then everyone else.

Except all their high speed gear issue: switch blade knife, watch, brief case etc. Must be nice to have a budget like that.


Yeah, we had some cool AF guys in our class, Bigworm and Aviatorshade can attest to that. Between those guys and the crazy SEAL we had, that was a fun API class!

haha our guy took our money for the class picture and ran. E5B, you wont be surprised when i tell you who it was. i wouldnt be surprised if i went back to the API building, saw our class picture and its just him with a handful of twenties.
