Trick plays, throwing the ball, and going for two (yeah yeah yeah, three possession game), when the games was clearly in hand. Keep it classy.

Booooorrrriiiinnngggg!

Went flying instead...

I beat the runway 2-0.

Flying on a Saturday? Hopefully is was a GENAV flight, because if you were flying for the Navy on the weekend to produce X's, then your squadron is doing it wrong. Now if you were flying on a Cross-Country, then you are excused.

Negat flame & chucks, just an observation. I noticed the Middies were sporting unit patches again this year. Don't recall seeing them the past few Army/Navy battles. The game got pretty messy/slushy early on, but I saw the Lemoore-based VFA-25s unique "Fist Of The Fleet" patch a number of times during the game. Either more than one player was wearing it, or one Middie was all over the field today! A bit of overkill, but then so is a 'Nuke!

Good win, they'd have sure as hell socked it to us, if they could have... no tears here.;)

R1,

Can you clarify what/who those names are? They don't appear to be Midshipmen, but maybe they have a lot of girl names now. If they're active-duty from folks from those units, they probably don't need to be public.

If I misunderstood and/or they're Mid players, I can undelete the post.

Volunteered,
I enjoy flying and teaching...

I enjoyed flying and teaching as well, but I always did it as a cross country. Hopefully you get a COMP day during the week. You must remember that you are on SHORE duty and weekends are YOUR time. If you continue this trend,, then it will be expected that you fly on the weekends.

Um…can't say I did a lot of due diligence on the info I was provided by a USNA Alum/retired Flag Officer (former Boss of mine…) who resides in Annapolis. Input was an excel spreadsheet. My "assumption" was/is that this was a list of jersey numbers/player's names, and patches of choice.

Please don't tell me I fell for the "Sum Ting Wong" syndrome…but if I did, I certainly apologize.

I don't understand the big ruckus regarding info available to the general public, in ~50,000 printed programs at the game, and lineups by name/number on national TV?

I don't think that's what Gatordev was getting at…his concern, if I understand it correctly, was/is that the "names mentioned" might be fleet Sailors and Marines who shouldn't have their names/affiliated units posted. If he's right…I agree with him. If the names in the list are players…I agree with you, BzB.

Personally, I have NO IDEA what this year's player roster looks like…other than to say that it looks like a whole giant heap of "shirted-up" players…more than I thought was allowed by NCAA rules.

I note that someone has deleted my post about jersey numbers/player's name/selected unit patches...…so perhaps Gatordev is correct?

Absolutely correct. I wasn't sure if they were players names or something else. I didn't have time to go research it this morning when the post was reported, so I soft-deleted it until the issue could be resolved. I undeleted your post for all to see again. Sorry for the confusion and no issues as far as I can see.
