Assistance with making myself more competitive for Naval OCS and getting a Naval Aviator contract?

I am about to graduate college with a Bachelor’s Science in Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering. My CGPA is expected to be between a 2.7 - 3.0 CGPA, I have my Private Pilot License and working on my Instrument Rating and I am planning to take the ASTB for the third time. First time I didn’t qualify, second time I qualified for Naval Aviator but not Naval Flight Officer and that tells me I barely passed so I want to get a better score. What more can I do for my application to make me more competitive to get accepted and get a contract for Naval Aviator? Any advice would be great?

Instead of posting questions every 2 minutes, take the 10 seconds to do research. There are tons of resources on this site for you to easily find the answer.

Good luck!

Do you mean you qualified for naval flight officer and not naval aviator. Naval aviator generally requires higher scores than naval flight officer. DM me if you have any questions.

Yeah according to the recruiter who I did my ASTB with she told me I scored enough to make it to Naval Aviator but not NFO

Either I'm tripping or that makes no sense at all. NFO is naval flight operator and their immediate selection scores are 6/6/6 compared to 7/7/7 for naval aviator.

That isn't how it works, the minimum scores for both are the same 5/5/5, not that I would recommend anyone apply with those scores unless they had exhausted all their test attempts.

So do you want to apply for SNFO? What is your desire? What were your scores?

NFO is Naval Flight Officer. ISEL scores are just that ISEL scores, a person can not be qualified for ISEL but still be very qualified. A person that has a 7/9/5 would not qualify for ISEL for either but based on the PFAR is better qualified for SNA than a person who has 7/7/7, there have been people who have had scores who had a non qualifying score for SNA but they did for SNFO. There have been score that are all over the map.
