Ok so how are each of the sections calculated, you know the AQR, PFAR, FOFAR, and OAR? Are each of them directly related to an individual section of the test (i.e. math, spatial apperception, etc.) or are they a mix of different sections?

Thanks

- The AQR is a composit derived from a weighted combination of the following tests:

Math/Verbal (MVT)
Mechanical Compensation (MCT)
Spatial Apperception (SAT)
Aviation/Nautical Info (ANT)

- The PFAR is a composite derived from a weighted combination of the same four tests but is weighted in a different way.

- The FOFAR is a weighted combo of the following:

Math/Verbal
Spacial Apperception
Aviation/Nautical Info

- The OAR is derived from a weighted combo of the Math/Verbal (MVT) and the Mechanical Comprehension (MCT)...the OAR is used by the Navy to screen applicants for their Officer Candidate Schools.

All sections of the test, except for the OAR, are scored in statine (1-9) fashion, while the OAR is a standard score (0-80)
