I took the test on November 18th in Boise, Idaho and have yet to recieve results back. I have heard as long as a month but this is easily going on a month and a half to two months and I am getting worried. Do tests get lost? Or is it because of Christmas\New Years? Either way my recruiter says that he will have his processor check it out for him. Let me know what you think or if you have had a similar experience (that hopefully turned out well).

I took the ASTB in September (right before Labor Day) and had the results within a week. As I understand the process with my test, the scantron answer sheet was FedEx'ed to Pensacola to be graded and the scores were e-mailed back to my recruiter. Hopefully alls well that ends well....

Im am sure I did well, that makes all worse if they lost my test! I cant live with the suspense much longer.

It is getting quite ridiculous this must be the longest it has ever taken to get a score back.....going on 57 days ago I took the test, but nothing. "I'll have my processor check it out" my recruiter says. He said that two weeks ago. I am beginning to doubt the dedication of my recruiter. It's not like I pester him every day or even once a week but he takes sometimes a week to return a phone call or an e-mail. How many people can he be busy with that he can't keep me informed? I'm just blowing off steam I guess. Maybe the Marine Corps is better; I have no doubt that I would be a squared away marine. :icon_rage :icon_rage :icon_rage

My recruiter sometimes takes a little while to return my calls or e-mail as well, but then again I get in touch with him whenever I have a question. Which is usually every other day. He has to be out of the office a lot and in many meetings. But I always feel that he is looking out for me. Since I want to be in the Navy, I have to be the one who pursues any possibility. I don't think there is anything wrong in trying to get in touch with him more often. 57 days is a bit long, but I've heard it take that long before. I took mine on October 15 and the results came back within 15 days. I don't know why there isn't a standard. Good Luck!!!

Try this link for your ASTB score. I'm not sure if it still works the same, or if they will give scores for civilian applicants, but give it a try and please post if you were able to get it.

I had tried that number about a month after I took the test and it seemed like they allowed civilians to retrieve scores but they did not have mine on file. However, more recent attempts to contact that number result in invalid extention errors, like they had changed the system around or something. Either way I was unable to get a hold of anyone but I will try again on monday.
