ASTB in NRD San Diego

Has anyone recently taken the ASTB in NRD San Diego? Is it the new test with the video game thing or the same 6 subtests as in the Peterson's study book? What does the new test consist of exactly? Is it the video game thing plus the 6 subtests? Thanks.

the new one hasn't gone live yet, they are still doing upgrades to the existing computers, you think they would have caught this earlier!

Cool thanks. So is the test given on paper or on computer? I plan to take it not this monday but the next.

they should only be giving the computer version, but they had issues so not sure what they are doing?

I took it June 25th and it was still paper and was given inside a conference room with no computers...

Considering San Diego is a major fleet concentration are you would think they would be out of the dark ages!

Thanks for the info. What did you have to bring? Just pencil and scrap paper right?

I brought my own pencils, however, the proctor's directions said to use the pencils provided and I didn't feel like testing it. Scrap paper was also provided

Really? When have they ever caught anything? (or produced something on time/ on budget/ on spec).
