Do they marked off points if you write on the Booklet? Worried about the Reading Comprehension, I might cross out the least fav answer. Any tips on the Math portion of the test?

amazing, but if you need to retake at least you will be able to take the new version without having any test counts against you.

Good Evening sir,

Im about to take the ASTB for the 3rd time at NRD SD. IF i wait until they roll out the new version on the computer, will that still count towards my 3 tries for a lifetime? or will it be counted separated?

I will not count against you, the reason for the 3 lifetime is currently there are only 3 versions, the new test is a new version. We asked Pensacola and Joyce said it will not count against you.

ok so if i take my last attempt on paper and cant score above a 50, I would still be eligible to retest on the newer version, correct?

Yes, but 50 isn't a majic number, granted most of mine score greater than that but often not by much, I have seen people picked up in the 40's. A person that scores a say 54 with 3.0 GPA isn't as competitive as a person with a say 45 and 3.5 GPA if all other things are equal.

i'm assuming if someone has a gpa below a 3.0 they would need a higher ASTB score right?

Sir,

I just spoke to NRD SD, and according to them they stated that they will not administer the new computer version anytime soon. Do you know if they are telling the truth or lying to me? Thank you. I can message you the number I called them at as well.

The new exam takes effect 1 June, so they will have to change.
