Hey, I recently applied to the navy pilot and nfo programs and found out my scores on the old astb are not longer competitive. I have to re-test and have not delt with any math/mech comp stuff for about 6 years. Those tend to be my weak points and I am not the best book learner. Dose anyone know of a good tutoring program to get me back up to speed, ie.. a math refresher course etc.. I currently live in Denver, Co. Thanks!

I agree with Zoltan04. I just took the test yesterday, and algebra, geometry, and trig were most important for answering the problems in the math section. The ARCO military flight aptitude test book helped me out the most, but I also appreciated the gouge available on this website. If the ARCO book isn't enough, I'd simply check out some cliffs notes on math from your local library. Saves you money and you get a refresher course. For mechanical, review basic info on pulleys, levers, scales, and combustion engines. I had at least five questions on gasoline engines.
