Allright Fellas I take my ASTB in a few days. I feel I am well prepared for it, if any of you all have any tips I would greatly appreciate it.

Make sure you are well oriented with the spacial apperception portion. I thought I was, but then I got into the test my senses seemed to fail me. I think more practice would have helped with that. Also, using ASVAB guides for the mechanical isn't bad idea.

Ask any specific questions that you might have. I agree with erinbynight that the spatial apperception can be a bit confusing to start. It doesn't resemble the section in the ARCO book, but the ARCO stuff will put you on the right track. Mechanical was my worst section because of the time limit. Good luck!!

bring your own stop watch to guage time. Nothingl like being surprised that those 15 minutes are already up. Unless, of course, the new computerized version has the time shown.
