ASVAB Aircrew Question

Hi do you have to qualify for aircrew and AW or since they made everyone who is a naval aircrewman an AW, so do I just need to qualify for AW now? My NCC dont know this question and I am wondering if anyone knows it. Thank you guys

Now that all Aircrew fall under the AW rating, you'll need to cross-rate to AW in order to go to NACCS. I'm sure your NCC can figure it out. If not, have her get ahold of her detailer.

well my question is on the asvab theres 2 catagories do i have to qualify for both the aircrew and the AW or just the AW?

All AW's are Aircrew, so I would imagine that you'd need to qualify for both.....but since the program has changed, the directives may have also changed. Have your NCC clarify.
