August 2010 Boards

I checked the Navy OCS forum and didn't see a thread posted for the August 2010 boards. So, I'll be the first to post. This will be my second time applying, which I hope the board will recognize my improvement and commitment. I applied in May with a 58 6/6/7 for SNA/NFO/Intel and was a non-select for all three, which really lit a fire under my @ss and kept me pushing harder. Just shooting for SNA this time around as my OR says SNA is right on track for their quota (ie 75% filled at beginning of 4th qtr) and NFO & SWO are over quota for the rest of FY 2010.

It's been confirmed that there will be no SNA board in August. Your application will be submitted in August but not reviewed until September. Move those stats to the Sept. thread.

Thanks for letting me know. I double checked w/ my recruiter and you are correct. Another month isn't going to kill me, but I sure was rushing for the August boards.

Conflicting Information

I talked to the head of Southeastern Navy recruiting and I don't know if what everyone is saying about pilot being shut down until September is entirely accurate. I'm being put up for SNA in August as far as his words to me over the phone were.
