Hey All,
I'm trying to figure out my expenses (monthly) when I move to Florida in June, so can anyone give me an idea on what average utilities run down in the Milton area? I'm planning on renting a house and have follow on orders to Whiting after API. Specifically I'm looking for:

Electricity
Water/Sewer
Trash
Cable/TV
Internet

and anything else anyone can think of. Thanks, appreciate the info.

Electricity: going to vary depending on how many you have and how cold you like your house.

Water/Sewer: About 20-30 bucks, but again, will depend on number of people.

Trash: A new company just started up which pushed all the trash prices down. Look for about $45. I've been happy w/ North Santa Rosa.

Cable/TV: Sucks. But Medicom will be happy to help you part w/ your $50-90 depending on how many extras you want. I'm about to bail to Dish.

Internet: Again, Mediacom isn't all that great, but about $45. I'm w/ DSL 3.0Mbps, and I'm paying about $42. I keep forgetting to call to upgrade to 6.0, which is about $55.

Cox Cable takes $160 a month from me... I have kind of a basic package, just with HBO added on ($11 a month) and HighSpeed internet...

They really rape us down here, considering up in the midwest, I was paying $85 a month for the same thing.

Find out what the address of the property you're looking at is & then call the utility companies, they'll give you an average of the last year'ss bills for that property.
