aviation officer canidate?

I am wondering if the aviation officer canidate contract that I signed will get me into flight school after successful completion of ocs. Unfortunately, I have heard rumors from current navy pilots that the contract does not gaurantee anything, even if physically fit for aviation with good ASTB scores. Can any present naval aviators elaborate on this?

You're good to go unless dis-qualified by the more intensive physical and measurements done at P-cola, stuff you really can't do anything about. Keep doing push-ups while reading your big three and don't worry about it. Good luck.
