Authorities say an active-duty Marine shot and killed two fellow service members at Marine Corps Base Quantico in Virginia before killing himself early Friday.
Authorities say the male shooter was found dead of a self inflicted gunshot wound and two others, one man and one woman, were pronounced dead at the scene.

Not to detract from the personal tradgedy, but this will raise some issues.

After last year's OCS staff sex scandal and this, I think some people are going to be taking hard looks at the program up there. Yes, I know that a crazed shooting isn't something a CO can plan for, but you know how it goes.

Also, I wonder if he used his personal weapon or a Marine weapon. The fallout either way will be bad. If personal, it'll be more fire on the gun control debate, if government, it means that checking out your damn weapon at the armory is going to mean you're up at 3am before a range, instead of 4.
