BAH Issue during API

I'm posting this in the OCS forum since I think it only applies to recent OCS grads with 1390 designators. So far there's only been a few of us and we've all been OCSers but I could be wrong.
Anyway, for all of those student naval aviators who just got there commission and who meet all of these conditions:
-Follow on orders to Corpus or not having any follow on orders
-ACC code 341 (Some accounting term, I have no idea what it actually means, but it can either be 341 or 342.)
-off the street, non-prior
-NOT BDCP

If you meet all of these conditions, you are not eligible for full BAH, just transit (I think it's $500/month). Instead, you are eligible for per-diem with one caveat - you need orders to your final duty station (either CC or Vance). Therein lies the problem since you will not receive those orders till your graduation is assured from API (probably the last week you're there).
After talking with my chain of command and PSD a few times, they are telling me that I will get my per-diem back-dated from when I checked in.
In other words, you'll get your money, but after you get to primary and you'll have to do without for all of API, so make sure you aren't relying on full BAH to make ends meet.

This is a new issue for everyone so it could change on a weekly basis (it has for me already) but that is where it stands now. If anything changes I'll post it, or if anyone else hears anything please put it up here.

You said this applies to "guys off the street, non-prior enlisted". Do you know the deal with prior enlisted, but had a break in service, so for all intents and purposes "off the streets"?

You are off the street because you won't come from a PDS.

I'm not 100% sure Ken, I would think that it should apply to you, but first things first, survive OCS, after that you'll have orders, so who knows if it'll apply to you or not.
