BDCP Acceptence Percentage

Does anybody know or have an estimate on what the acceptance rate is for BDCP? I have searched for this on google and saw one website claiming 50% of BDCP applicants are accepted in the program. This seems high to me and the website did not seem like it had authority of the subject or references.

Also, is there anybody on here that personally has or know someone that has been pro selected for SNA or SNFO and then not accepted for BDCP?

My understanding is that it fluctuates from year to year. However, the few times in the past that I've read the numbers on BDCP applicants picked from a monthly board, I've only seen a very small handful. Where did you hear 50%?

Numbers could be misleading too. If you have the qualifications and most of the other guys don't (or at least, aren't as good as you), that percentage means little.

Or at least that's just what I tell myself to avoid worrying about the fact that I will probably have a slim chance when I finally start my application

Dont worry about who will or wont get accepted, it just causes added stress to an already somewhat stressful process, and even more stressful wait. Just search this page for gouge, learn it, and then turn in a killer packet and be done with it. Besides, if you want to talk numbers, only a certain percent gets jets anyways
