On the form where you have to put 3 fields that you want to go into. if you put SNA and leave the other two blank what happens if you dont get picked up for SNA? does it mean you cant apply to the program again? just asking cause an aviator told to do it because she said i should stick to my guns. Thanks

If you do not get picked up for something on the first time you are allowed (and encouraged) to keep applying. If you don't want to do anything besides being an SNA don't apply for anything else. (edit) Also I thought it would make a difference to the board when I first put my app. through whether or not they thought I would be more serious if I just applied for one thing, and it doesn't make a difference to them (you may or may not feel this way)

The future of the Supply Corps
But you have to ask yourself if it's more important to get to fly, or to be an officer (as well as reap the BDCP benefits). My first choice was Intel, which I really wanted, my second was Supply...I know I don't regret putting Supply on there as well. Just something to think about, I guess.

It doesn't matter if you put anything in the other lines. The board reads absolutely nothing into it at all. If you will not accpet you second or third choice then don't put anything down. You are wasting their time since you will get a good screening for your other choices. If you are non-select you can always reapply wehter you had other chices listed or not. I have seen a reapplication for a different program then the first because a guy changed his mind about how badly he simply wanted to be a naval officer.

What happens if you get denied from your first option but accepted for your second. Since you're supposed to commit within a month, can you say hold up and keep applying for awhile, or is it all or nothing at that point?

I was in that EXACT situation. You MUST accept or deny within a month. No saying "hold up." It is all or nothing, and if you turn it down, you have to write them a letter explaining why.

The letter explaining your rejection of the offer (second, third or first, it does happen) is if you reapply after the six month wait whether for the same program or another.
