Bdcp Info

Im new to this site but I was just wondering if anyone could give me some info about the BDCP. I was wondering if anyone has heard about the boards for one. My recuiter told me that during the month of sep. they are only meeting once for all positions SWO/NFO/ect. Is this true and does anybody know the date when they will have this giant board for all positions. Also what are my chances of getting in as a SWO and what else do I have left to do.
Stats
Junior 3.8 GPA in Criminology at FSU
56 OAR
PRT PU:50 SU:60 Mile and a half: 8:51 hope that makes up for the bad scores
Volunteer with America Reads
Won 3 state championships in Cross Country. Back in HS
LOR: Teacher/prior employer/prior employer
I have finished my espq, physical, application
Underage drinking charge: off my record but I did tell the Navy about it

So do my chances look good and what else do I have left. Do I have to do MEPS. And how much longer should it take. Sorry about the long post.

What about when the board meets

Even if your recruiter specifically tells you when the board meets, all board dates are N/A or subject to change. You just have to have faith in yourself and patience. No one here knows when the board dates fall. At best, there are rumors and at the boards ever fickle whim they are usually made false.

waiting for this is the worst thing ever

I learned that I had to accept the reality that this process can and may take a full year to complete. If I were you (and in a way I'am since I'm waiting too) I'd occupy the time by making a back up plan. I'm not wishing bad luck on you at all (your stats are better than mine) but once you accept the waiting mentality AND you have a back up plan should things go bad, you'll feel alot more comfortable and less anxious.
