BDCP Tax

BDCPers...what do we do for tax? Are we supposed to get W-2 forms from our officer processors?
I've emailed my processors and I haven't heard from them in a couple weeks.
Has anyone gotten their W-2s, or know if we are supposed to get them by now?

Damn, that put me at another catch. It sent the PIN to my Navy email, which I need a CAC reader to access...
Thanks for the tip.
Will still probably need to get W-2s from my NRD.

If you are in MyPay, I don't think you can get your W-2 any other way. That is to say, since DFAS published W-2's to MyPay they keep anyone else from doing so (you know.... for cost savings and all that). If that is true you MIGHT be able to get it straight from DFAS.

Ah...I am not in MyPay. I just tried it with mrkoje's comment and it told me about my Navy email, which I have not even accessed because of the lack of CAC reader and need to do so. Good to know, though, I'll see if I can get it from DFAS.

Talk to your recruiter and processor about getting set up with Mypay. It is a great system and it available to you while you're in BDCP. All your paystubs, W-2's and travel claims are available online there, amongst other things.

I had the same problem being unable to reset my PIN over email. Send them a FAX per the instructions in the security FAQ, wait a few days and they'll reset your pin to the last 5 digits of your social. That's how I ended up getting access without having Navy email access. The login ID is also your social.

Roger that, I just did that today.
Thank you for the information!
Yay tax season, we are paying our own payrolls...

Hey wishIcouldfly, make sure to check the temp pin often, they don't let you know they reset it and it only last for like two days, and resets again. I had to go through the fax process twice for not paying attention.
