Do I have until the end of the 24th calendar month for a BFR or until exactly 2 years to the day from date of FAA Private Pilot Practical Test? Thank you.

If you want to buy yourself an extra month, wait until the first day of the 25th calendar month to do the BFR. You just can't log PIC on that flight.

Sure you can. You can log all the time that you are sole manipulator of the controls in an aircraft for which you are rated as PIC. You just can't act as PIC without a current flight review, but that's okay since the CFI giving you the flight review can act as PIC.
