Board Results

Does anyone know how long it usually takes for board results to come out, or where I can find results?
As far as I know it is pretty quick! Your recruiter or your program manager will let you know as soon as they come out. Plus it may take a bit longer if they skipped a month! I know a guy that was in the January board and they told him on the 8th or 9th of Feb.

Okay great, thanks for the information. I believe my SWO board is in March. Does anyone know what competitive ASTB scores would be for a SWO board?

that cant be answered, they go for the whole person concept, ive seen 42's and 63's, it varies from application to application.

Enlisted to OCS; How will I be notified if accepted?

I am currently enlisted in the Navy, and I put in an OCS application on Jan 20th for the Feb. intel board. What is the standard method that I will be notified if I am pro req'd? Will they call me, e-mail me, contact my CO, contact my CCC...? I have not found how it is supposed to work. Thanks for any info.

Check out threads like "November 2010 Board" to get an idea of timeline and scores/applications.

When you start seeing people posting they received a call from their OR then you should notify your CoC so you can call/e-mail your processor. Your processor will be able to tell you if you were picked up or not. There is a way via facebook to see your results but I don't know how to access it. Here is the thread from USNAVYOCS.com in which the previous fleet processor talked about it so maybe you can access it. I'm sure someone there may know how to access it for you or see if it is even useful still.

I'm a fleet guy selected Nov '10. The website on facebook was removed, reason not given. When I was selected, I heard people mention that results were out, so I had my Chief call them saying that the COC wanted to know. They emailed him a copy of the board results signed by the Admiral. According to the career counselor webpage, an E-7 or above can call the processor to get results. Good luck to you.

Ah, that is about the time when the old fleet processor turned over to the new fleet processor. I bet that had something to do with it.
