Actually, I think they would be more likely to deliver the ship in working order to whoever scared them in the first place. Then surrender. Reminds me of the joke:

Q: Why do many major roads in France have trees planted on both sides?

A: So the Germans can march in the shade.

Interesting. The British CVs are not supposed to come with cat's or arresting gear. I guess if they really want interoperability, they would have to.

Very interesting. I think this bodes ill for the military readiness of our allies. If it happens, then the carriers would never get underway, much less operate aircraft or perform any missions. Too much red tape, I would think.
