Bum Knee

I am currently in the process of applying for Intel, SWO, and Supply and waiting on my ASTB scores to get in before I send off my OCS app. I have only one worry-I had ACL reconstruction surgery back in Oct 2002 when I blew out my knee playing football, but I also had a pin put through my knee cap. The ACL issue seems to be workable, but I have not seen many threads dealing ortho pins. My knee does not bother me, and I run several miles daily. Will the pin in my knee cap cause me to be medically DQ'ed when MEPS rolls around for me?? Also, what information should I get from my surgeon to make the MEPS process go more smoothly in dealing with this issue??

Get a full description of what it is (med parts have brand name, suprisingly), what it's for, permanent/not, etc.

I had a copy of my medical record, it had all the info they needed. I have some retained hardware, and NOMI/MEPS cleared me for Pilot. It's never been a problem, although I can tell when a cold front is about to pass without watching the Weather Channel.
