I read that several cars of OCS students have been broken into in the past, has that problem been solved ? How is the security for seawall parking or wherever we park, can we see our cars from dorm ? How faris it from where we park our cars to sign in desk ? thx :icon_smil

Don't leave anything of any value in your car.

Its a long walk until you get your first liberty, then you can park where ever you can as long as they dont see it. Not any crime while Iwas there either. Dont sweat it.

A rule to live by, no matter where you are.
Very true... Nothing can ruin your day (after being picked up on standby for your last flight in intermediate) like walking out of your apartment only to find out that your car was broken into and your stereo is gone...

Ouch, that hurts. I've learned through owning a soft-top Jeep never leave anything in your vehicle that you are not willing to part with.

Nothing was stolen from my husband's car while he was there, but someone ripped the base permit he had before he went to OCS off the car around the 6th week.

I went to OCS with a guy who kept a set of golf clubs in the back of his truck. No one ever touched them.
