We have been notified that CEC accessions have come to a sudden halt. All billets are frozen, those selected at the last board are being moved from FY13 to FY14, it is unknown when the next board will be.

NavyOffRec, I'm a prior Marine and just finished with an EE degree. Do you know if age waivers being given?

Im 29, turning 30 next week. Only reason I ask is due to the reduction of CEC selects. I was thinking that they would weed out the older applicants.

no, as long as you are under 35 you are good, no waiver needed up to 35, the only thing that is needed are billets so they can hold a board.
