Couldn't post anything last night, due to my power still being knocked out. The impact area was about a mile from my house, and a pretty nasty fire started. No fatalities, though, which is good news.

Initially, there was a huge freakout from higher, as there were quite a few birds up yesterday doing motivational rides for junior Marines. Rapid and multiple requests for accountability came down the pipe for pretty much all of 2MAW in the Cherry Point and New River area. I don't think there were any onboard, but talk about a 'reward' for doing a good job.
