Class 07-08 June 28 Start Date

Looking for anyone else that might be in class 07-08. Also, any recommendations on where to live in the area near Whiting Field? Any help is greatly appreciated.

Yeah, your orders may say class 07-08, but don't expect it. You'll be at the mercy of the Navy and VT-3, so your class number will probably change. It's really no big deal, your class doesn't stay together anyway. It's kind of like a free-for-all...

I wouldn't wait until you get here to find a place bc there is usually a waiting list if you want to live somewhere descent. I recommend Governors Gate, especially if you're following on to Whiting bc it's almost exactly halfway between PNS and Whiting (about 25 minute drive). From what I hear it sucks to live in Whiting bc there's nothing up there. I would start talking to apt. places a month ahead of ur expected move date and lock on a place then.

Thanks, i sent in an application to governors gate and talked to some people there and looks like they have an apt for me. appreciate the help
