How do you actually perform the clutch reset on the x52 for the emergency procedures. Thanks in advance for the help.

It's a Saitek joystick, used for the ASTB practice sessions. They're not installed on your Hover-Rounds.

You push one of the buttons on it. It’s the one nearest to your thumb on the side, I think. It’ll tell you exactly which one on the exam.
