Has anyone heard the latest on what the status of this is?

Background: a huge amount of Lieutenants were told that they wouldn't get the CLRP they were promised because their OSO didn't forward a copy of their statement of understanding (doc that acknowledges your contract is extended in exchange for $30,000 of repayments) to HQMC. This includes people like me who did sign the SOU and my OSO says they sent it up but apparently HQMC doesn't have it on file.

We were told there would be a new MARADMIN where you put together a packet and, basically, plead your case and explain why your SOU isn't on file.

That news is over a month old, has anyone heard anything new?

Also, I am just assuming that I will get screwed on this, so when I do is there anything that Lt's have done in the past to get this fixed? Numbers you need to call, people you need to talk to?

Thanks.

There is a guy to call but he never answers his freaking phone. Some guys in the MOC know who he is, fewer have actually been able to talk to him. CLRP has been the biggest goat rope I've seen in a while. Submit paperwork with your OSO, again at OCS, 3 times at TBS, then again with the MOC at MATSG and still they lose your stuff.

PM sent.

A couple of weeks ago I turned in a packet to my SPC with yet another copy of my SOU, and letters to loan holders. Got news back that it has been submitted to higher (whoever that is) and that they will process it (whatever that means). I've been told that I need to call my loan holder about 45-60 days from the day it was submitted to see if it went through alright. My SPC said I should be notified if there is anything else I need to do to get if finished.

I'm also expecting to get screwed on this, but this is the furthest this has gone up the chain. I think all the other SOU's I submitted are still in some corner of camp Barrett somewhere.

Submitted to higher probably means it is lost in the huge mess that is the TBS S-1 shop...
