Color vision requirements

So I am reading that the color rec for being a student naval aviator is 12/14 PIP. And if that is failed, then 9/9 FALANT is passing. If that is failed, then a 16/18 FALANT or PIP can be administered (please correct me if I am wrong i am just taking this from the top of my head but vaguely remember, so I am giving it a shot).

Does a naval aviator include being an NFO? A pilot needs a 14/14 PIP or can they squeak by with a 9/9 FALANT with a missed PIP?

These tests have to be done through MEPS? Can just the color tests and depth perception tests be redone even if they were done like a year before transitioning from the Marines to Navy OCS?

Can ASTB scores be transferred from the Marines to the Navy?

thanks alot

Being that I'm not a flight doc, all I have is what I've done for the almost the last 13 years in the Navy, 9 of which I've been wearing pilot wings. I've never taken anything but the Falant from my very first flight physical as a midshipman to now. I was one of those who could not pass those dot tests by the way. It never really mattered though, didn't have to take them for aviation and still don't.

ASTB trandfers between Navy and USMC. They will get your scores from NAMI. No effort on your part. Good color vision required for NFO and Pilot. Can't remember the details, but FALANT or dots are ok. Got to be real color blind not to pass the FALANT. Can usually get a civ consult for most test by MEPS, but when you go to Pcola you have to pass the physical at NAMI or you are out.
