Commercial Ticket Gouge

Does anyone have the gouge I could use to get my Commercial Multi-engine (Symmetrical) Instrument ticket? I am in 122 in Lemoore and want to get working on it over the holidays when I might have some time to study stuff other than radar mech. Also if anyone has gouge on getting the process started I would appreciate that. Thanks!

Its a pretty straight forward rating. Steep turns, stall recoveries from the onset, shutdown and restart the engine, normal and single engine instument approaches. I don't know what you are flying but I can send you the SOP's that I give my students for the Piper Seminole that covers all the multi-commercial manuvers. Just PM me if you want them. It might take a day or two for me to get them to ya.

As far as studying, just look over the multi-engine oral exam guide. You shouldn't have to go into any further detail than that.

Knucklehead... Why didn't you do the Military Equivalency when you got winged???

He can still get Mil Equivelency as long as he is within one year of his last NATOPS check and Inst check. He can get credit for whatever the Rhino counts toward (probably MEL w/centerline thrust restriction). If he is still inside a year for the T-34 he can get SEL as well.

I am pretty sure he was asking for gouge on the Military Equiv test. And the T45 counts for SEL, also, so the T34 isn't a player.

It is technically over the weight, but it is waivered.

Oh I dont know, the 7 days they gave me to get to Lemoore after I winged... Or maybe it was the fact that Ghost and his wife are no longer offering the gouge session of old in Meridian... Those things could be reasons why.

Makes Sense... But I would get it done because otherwise it will come back to haunt you.. One of my Fleet buds didn't do it and whne he was going to get his ATP, he had to go thru the pain of getting him commercial first.. He is at JetBlue now so I guess it worked out but it was a pain.. Ghost did have a good deal but just forking out the 100 bucks in Pcola works too...
