USMCCandidate
New Member
Folks,
I am new here to Air Warriors and I have found my self in need of advice. I am an USMC Officer Candidate that has been in the program since 2006. I graduated PLC in Summer of 2008 and College in May 2009. Since then I have been waiting on my commissioning paperwork to get processed and a commissioning date. We have spent a significant amount of this time waiting for a Tattoo Waiver to get approved (left forearm). 13 months after graduation I still have not commissioned nor have I received a date and I am running thin on patience. Calls and e-mails to my OSO's Office get me answers of 'we haven't heard anything, we are waiting for the paperwork, and just sit tight and when we hear more the first thing we will do is call you.' Is it normal for the OSO's to have this little information on what is going on with my RFA? Is there anything I can or should be doing in this case?
Thanks for any advice.
*edit* I forgot a details. Apparently due to changes in the tattoo policy, and some issues with security clearance paperwork, my commissioning package was not submitted until Late January.
