I am currently enrolled in a four year school and have applied for plc, my buddy is in community college and is interested in taking the path less tarveled and applying to the Marines as well. Are you allowed to be in a community college to get accepted into the program, he is going to transfer to to a four year university at the end of his second semester. Any advice would be golden.

Yes. You can contract and ship from a CC. You will of course have to attend a four year institution to earn your bachelors degree. Have him talk to an OSO. It's no big deal.
